Accommodation

We are aware that hotels are relatively expensive in Switzerland. Please consider to share your hotel room with a colleague. In most of the cases, double occupancy of rooms may reduce your costs significantly. If you don't know anyone who is also attending the conference, please email us at eseh2023.hist@unibe.ch and we will try to find a room mate. A city ticket for public transport during your stay is always included in the room price.

In addition, several middle-class and high-standard hotels (3* and 4*) can be booked via the Bern Tourism office or via general hotel booking platforms. Furthermore, a smaller number of B&Bs as well as AirBnB facilities are available. Finally, a larger youth hostel is within 10 minutes walking distance.
