Prof. Christian Rohr is a Full Professor of Environmental and Climate History at the Institute of History, University of Bern since 2010. In addition, he is a Board Member of the OCCR and a member of ESEH from the beginning, and has attended nearly all of the previous ESEH conferences (9 out of 10). He also served as ESEH Regional Representative of the German-Speaking Countries (2007-2015) and for various ESEH Committees. He is specialised in the history of natural disasters, in historical climatology, in resource conflicts, in environmental history of tourism and in visual environmental history.
